For more than a century, Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Boston (JF&CS) has been a cornerstone of care and stability for individuals and families across Greater Boston. JF&CS provides critical support at life’s most vulnerable moments, including mental health counseling, food assistance, and services for people with disabilities, older adults, parents, caregivers, and Holocaust survivors.
Every year, the organization serves more than 15,000 individuals and families across Greater Boston, meeting people where they are with empathy, respect, and dignity at the center of everything they do.
Today, the need for JF&CS’s services continues to grow and requests for emergency assistance are higher than ever before. Behind each of those requests is a real story: a parent working to put food on the table, an older adult facing isolation, or a family navigating an unexpected crisis. JF&CS responds to each situation with compassion to ensure that support is delivered not just as aid, but as a path forward.
