Ethan Smith

Outside of work, Ethan enjoys spending time with his three sons and daughter-in-law and makes the most of every opportunity to be in or on the water in Casco Bay, Portland.

Fun fact: When he’s not helping advisors run their practices, you might find Ethan playing his guitar in Portland’s Old Port—busking for cruise ship passengers and tourists who stop to enjoy the music.

Ethan has spent more than 30 years working across recruiting, business development, and practice management within the financial services industry. Over that time, he has helped hundreds of advisors refine their businesses, select the right practice models, and build operational structures that allow them to focus on what matters most—their clients.

Ethan first met Partners Pat Hinton and Greg Pinto more than 15 years ago while working at another firm. When the opportunity arose in 2024 to join them in building their own private wealth company, he was excited to help bring their shared vision to life. Today, Ethan plays a key role in managing the business side of the firm, ensuring the advisors have the support, systems, and infrastructure they need to deliver an exceptional client experience.
