Her life has always been shaped by global experiences. She spent her childhood in India and Malaysia, studied in Minnesota, and lived in Illinois, Paris, and Pennsylvania before settling in Brookline, MA with her husband. Her son and daughter are now young adults carving out their own paths, a transition that has brought new perspective and joy to family life.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Namratha exploring a new restaurant, attending live theater, or heading outdoors to hike or camp. One of her favorite recent memories is spending 16 unforgettable hours hiking to the top of Mt. Katahdin.
Namratha Shetty joined Altara Wealth in 2026 as a Paraplanner, bringing with her a diverse professional background shaped by careers in marketing, management consulting, and more than a decade in higher education. A long‑time believer in the power of financial literacy, she chose to move into financial planning to help people make confident decisions at key moments in their lives.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology and a master’s degree in International Management. In November 2025, she passed the CFP® exam, reflecting her deep commitment to the profession and to serving clients with integrity and expertise.
